USS ALABAMA MUSEUM   FEBRUARY, 2009

On Tuesday, Feb. 10 Dave and I went to The Battleship USS Alabama Museum in Mobile. It was a thrilling adventure. There we boarded the battleship and explored it's breadth and depths. I may leave the original audio on the videos of the interior since period music was playing in the background. From there we entered the WW II submarine The USS Drum. My mind wandered to memories of the movie Das Boot, the eerie sounds and the tensions of being in one of these ships deep underwater in the middle of the ocean with enemy crafts all around looking to blow you up with depth charges! Then we visited the aviation hanger where I had been anxious to view the A12 Blackbird. It was awesome! I hope you enjoy the videos ... and soundtracks!
