MY BOAT 1972 MCGREGER

Jacked up on blocks, a 6x6x12 PT beam spanned the bow in order to
remove the trailer. Then the center support was put in place so all the
weight was not on the beam.

I grinded the hull, fine sanded and repainted. A 2 inch hole was bored
through the hull to install a transponder for my depth sounder. The hull
and top deck were re-painted (not gel coated)

Kissy the cat always enjoyed hanging out on the boat when I worked on it.

The centerboard is solid lead about 1,200 pounds sheathed in fiberglass.
I repaired gaping cracks and re-fiber-glassed, ground down and re-painted

I tore out and replaced all the wood, customized compartments and storage.
I installed full wiring and control panel for mooring and running lights. I ran
two batteries to run radio and small TV. The glass in the windows were
re-placed.

Perkins Pier. I refitted all hardware converting to SS, new re-enforced
back plates all around, custom made trim and forward hatch,  new cleats,
chocks, pulleys & turnbuckles .. and on and on.

Perkins Pier, New custom made rudder & tiller, new SS fence rails, new
sheets & halyards, new main sail (stowed) Evinrude 6 horse long shaft motor
harnessed directly to the transom (no motor mount)

Moored at Little Eagle Bay before going to Perkin's Pier

Berthed at Perkin"s Pier as seen from the King St. dock.
